SHOWCASE CONCERT to be held Thursday, August 27th, at the Sandy Ampitheater in Sandy, Utah.

Reminder: Semi-Finals and Finals voting will be a "blind tally". This means that semifinalists will not be in order of votes, nor will you be able to see the number of votes received by each band/artist. Finalists will be announced on August 16th and Finals voting will begin the following day.

  • Must be 13 years of age or older. Anyone under 18 must have a waiver signed by parents.
  • Video/song must be LDS standards appropriate.
  • Video/song must be under 5 minutes in length.
  • Video/song must be an original by you or someone that you have permission from to use their music or it can be a public domain song.
  • The top four in each month qualify for the twelve-artist semi final.
    • May 1, 2009 to May 29, 2009
    • June 1, 2009 to June 29, 2009
    • July 1, 2009 to July 29, 2009
    • Semi-finals: Aug 1, 2009 to Aug 15, 2009
    • Finals: Aug 17, 2009 to Aug 24, 2009
  • The top 6 from the semi-final go to the final and perform at a concert in Utah where the winners will be announced. All expenses will be paid for top 6 to concert.
  • First prize: $5,000
  • Second prize: $2,000
  • Third prize: $1,000
